Hello everyone.  I hope everyone is enjoying their evening.  I apologize for falling behind in updating the blog lately.  As you can see, there are several assignments listed in the Homework Updates to stay on top of.

A few students have still not turned in their mosaic face and we are missing you at the front of the classroom.  Please complete this assignment right away so that we can add you to the gallery.

If you ordered special lunch, tomorrow is the day!!!

Last but not least . . . please replenish your school supplies if needed.  Everyone should be coming to school with their own pencils, pens, rulers, erasers, etc.  Mrs. Scott is not your personal school supply provider.  Thanks for taking care of this.

Have a fabulous day and get your homework done!

Hello everyone.  Please remember that tomorrow is our first skating day.  Please read the letter below:

October 24th, 2016

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Together, Mrs. Reoch’s, Mrs. Scott’s, Mr. DuMont’s and Mr. Yeske’s Grade 7/ 8 classes will be going skating this year. The date and time are as follows:

We will be traveling to the Murray Balfour Arena skating rink by bus.  The bus will leave at 12:45 PM and return at 3:30 PM. The total cost for transportation is $6.25 per student for two skating sessions per classroom.  Please pay on-line. Thank you!

As the students will be on the ice for two hours, they should dress warmly including mittens or gloves. Any students wishing to play hockey or games on the ice must wear a helmet.

Students are allowed to bring money to purchase hot chocolate or a drink.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Reoch
Mrs. Scott
Mr. DuMont
Mr. Yeske

As of this moment, only seven students have paid for the skating, so only seven students will be getting on the bus to come with us.  Students who do not pay for the skating will be left to work on homework with either Mr. Yeske or Mr DuMont.  Please pay online today, for the skating, as we want everyone to be able to participate.  Students must provide their own skates.  Also, any students wishing to use the time to play hockey, must wear a helmet with a cage.  Don't forget to bring your loonies/toonies to buy yourself a hot chocolate.
